Following concerts with visual artists, novelists and chefs, Merz Trio finishes its first season with its most ambitious cross-disciplinary concert experience to date:

MACBETH

Merz Trio reimagines Shakespeare's play as a theatrical, immersive concert experience. This through-performed show brings together passages from the play with a program of music that recreates the haunting, brooding atmosphere of the original drama. Dance soloist Caroline Copeland lends her talents to a program that interweaves music, text, movement, narrative, and more. Featuring trios of Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann and Charlotte Bray, as well as arrangements of works of Haydn, Verdi, and Shostakovich.
